We're going to San Francisco for our next project! Green 2 will be working with and living at the Presidio National Park doing habitat restoration, invasive species removal, trail repair and various other environmental improvements for 8 weeks, starting April 12th. Needless to say, this is awesome. I don't know how we lucked out and got to go to LA, Salt Lake City, and SF in one year, but here we are. Oh, and our team leader Philip came up with an interesting way to reveal our next project. He put pieces of paper with two letters on them in boxes, inside other boxes with wrapping paper and saran wrap around them. Then had us open them while wearing oven mitts. Eventually we had 10 pieces of paper, each with two letters on them, that spelled out Presidio National Park. So, two and a half weeks working on Habitat in Sheridan, a week of transition, and then on the San Francisco.
